Grayson at 21 months is such a very big boy- though I am still having a very hard time wrapping my head around the fact that he is going to be a big brother in just 3 months- he is changing rapidly and I fear I may forget all of his preciousness these days. He is super into the camera- so I can't get many pictures or movies of his awesomeness because as soon as he sees the camera he wants his turn... so here is my attempt to capture this moment in time
Grayson
-loves to do the stomping dance, he lifts his right leg up to a 90 degree angle and stomps it back down all while moving in a circle of sorts
- thinks everything belongs to him and tells us so by saying "mine" approximately 1,000 times a day
-loves animals- and is beginning to label them more- horse, dog, cat, bird, etc- BUT strongly believes that cats meow, dogs woof, and ALL other animals roar
-can climb up and down stairs holding onto the railing without putting his knee down or sliding on his bottom
-still loves his momma milk- but more for snuggles than anything else I think
-would like to watch Elmo on tv most of most days
-is truly devastated when it is time to come inside or he is not allowed outside to play
-LOVES to water mommy's plants- and his shoes, feet, hands,....
-is really into his swing at home, some days he wants to be pushed in the swing for up to 45 minutes at a time
-is insistent that he do some of the buckles and straps in his car seat (that can take a while) and totally melts down if mom doesn't let him
-likes to talk on the phone to his grandma and mimi the most, I like it when he puts his left hand into his pocket, holds the phone with his right hand and has a seat on his stepstool while chatting- he looks so sweet
-points up and squeals with joy whenever an airplane flies overhead
-is pretty into big, big trucks- dump trucks, garbage trucks, cement trucks, bulldozers, etc
-likes to tell everyone in our family where to sit by patting their 'assigned seats' on the couch, cat perch, floor, stool or where ever he deems appropriate
-is very opinionated- says yes and no and means it!
-gets much more frustrated when he can't do something- either because it isn't allowed or because he can't complete the task himself
-is obsessed with a squeeze bottle and cap- they must be in the crib for sleep and frequently get carried around for the morning
-really enjoys watching baseball and counting "1,2,3, go" for all of the batters to swing
-plays golf with all kinds of things- from his play golf clubs and balls to a soup ladle and play food- and gets very excited about it
