Happy Halloween

Grayson's nap time is about 12:30 to 3:00, trick or treat was to be held from 1:00-4:00 and we were pretty sure the combination wouldn't be a good one so this year we didn't get costumes, we didn't dress up and we didn't trick or treat.
We did however let Grayson hand out the candy- which he LOVED! He sat in the chair by the window and waited until kids walked near our house, then as they began to approach he squealed, he jumped, he ran, he had very tall eyebrows, he gasped and he opened the front door to hand out the candy.  He was very serious in picking out the candy for each individual child's bag.  I honestly believe he had WAY more fun handing out candy then he ever would have trick or treating himself.  Perhaps next year he will be a bit more interested- but if not this seems like a darn enjoyable compromise.
