Grayson's expressive language skills leave a lot to be desired at times. He tries SO hard to communicate- changing his pitch and intonation, stomping, pointing, grunting, using single (at times intelligible) words- but expressive language is just not his strength. He is on the waiting list for therapy services at both Marquette and UWM and is in the process of getting evaluated by birth to three services as well.
We have been working on his language ourselves- modeling and repeating and rephrasing .... and it seems to be helping as this week for the very first time Grayson has begun to use novel, simple, two word phrases!
