Grayson at 22 months

Still not many pictures- though I have a few I can add this month!
Grayson is a big mover and shaker- honestly he never really stops moving, ever...
- He loves his sunglasses from mimi- super round, shaped like ridiculous turtles and generally awesome!
-He loves so much to play night night times with mommy. He likes to lay down on blankets on the floor, put his head on a pillow, tell mommy to go "nigh nigh" and then we both pretend to snore until Grayson sits up and says "Hello" and mommy is supposed to sit up and look quickly around and say "wake up"- this game can go on for 20 minutes or more'
-Grayson loves to pretend to be daddy in the big bed- he likes to climb under Daddy's sheets, turn on the sound machine and lay his head on daddy's pillow- and then say "nigh nigh" before snoring
-Grayson LOVES it when mommy and daddy are shocked- he likes us to gasp and put our open hand in front of our open mouths and then gasp again. He likes to do 'shocking' things like- sit in Mommy or Daddy's seat on the couch and then laugh hysterically until they arrive in the room and make the shocked face (sometimes he gets SO excited to run to the seat before his grown up that he may crash into a wall or hit the floor on his way) or hold onto his dirty diaper during the night time routine until Daddy convinces him to pass it over but not before we all make the shocked face at least twice
-G loves to ride his horse in his room- particularly when mommy sings a ridiculous bouncing bouncing bouncing on a horsie song
-Grayson moved to a big boy carseat (a Graco Nautilus) and now sits up so tall and can see super well out the windows of the van
-Grayson loves to do the circle dance on the living room floor until he falls down repeatedly, then laughingly do it again- it is even more fun if mommy will do the circle dance too
-Grayson still likes his momma milk- but not every day any more- some days he nurses once a day, some days not at all and some days he nurses three times a day
-Grayson is becoming a very patient tooth brusher- he has a new fancy toothbrush that flashes for 1 minute and most nights he lets mommy brush his teeth for the whole minute before getting frustrated
-Grayson has all kinds of new words but no two word combinations yet
-Grayson is really into trying anything mommy has on her plate at any given meal- which is exciting because he is trying more foods but he often doesn't choose to eat more than one bite
-Grayson loves it when we count "1, 2, 3" and then something happens- he frequently approaches us holding up his index finger and says "one...." then we are supposed to do the rest of the counting- many things can happen when we reach three- perhaps we will run, maybe he will run, he may swing a bat at a ball, swing a club at a golf ball, use a kitchen baster as a golf club, go down a slide or just laugh
- A few sleep struggles have happened this month because Mommy and Daddy have been very busy getting ready for the next baby by working a lot and we haven't had a lot of down time- but overall he seems to be a pretty solid sleeper these days (thanks be!)

Every day is an adventure- and somehow each day I seem to be falling more and more in love with my sweet Grayson James. It is amazing how fast he is growing and changing and how much of a boy he has become- not so much of a little baby anymore (though there are days when I am certain Daddy might disagree :)
