Our sweet baby is 5 months old today and is more amazing each week. Here is what he learned how to do this month:
-sit unsupported for a few seconds at a time
-pull himself to standing using your fingers
-seek out and play with crinkle toys
-stand up while holding onto his jungle mat bars
-bat and swipe at toys----and pretty often get them!
-reach specifically for a toy and get it most of the time
-dance holding onto to your hands
-stand and bounce holding onto something
-ride in his big boy stroller
-stay awake and play while riding in the car
-be awake in the car without screaming or crying
-sit in his high chair
-roll from his back to his side (not quite all the way over yet)
-grab his toes and play with his feet
-squeal with delight
-vocalize in a number of different ways depending on the situation- sometimes quiet and conversational, loud and shreiking or something in between
-reach for an object
-attempt to get an object that is out of reach
-protest when you take something away
-sit on Mommy or Daddy's lap and be fun to take to a restaurant for a meal
-hold his sippy cup and take just a few sips
-make a big mess with rice cereal

cutie patootie! that tub water looks so clean and inviting... and the last picture looks a lil ethnic... are either of you part asian?

i thought you would have gotten the baby whirlpool tub!!! i couldn't believe it when i saw them. i save money by making nolan blow bubbles with a straw in her tub water...
