I am behind- this whole week has snuck away from me.
So here we are 33 weeks already- that means in 4 weeks this kiddo will technically be full term and can arrive any time after that- this also means I go back to work in 3 weeks. Wow how this summer and this pregnancy have flown.
According to Babycenter: This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple)and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening.
I think it is a good thing that is looking less and less like an alien- personally.
Not much else to report, after the amazing baby showers we are spending some time each day to sort, wash, put away and organize his room. I will post pictures soon of the chaos- but it is the best and most fun and most blessed chaos ever so you can be sure I will not be complaining about it.
The restless legs have improved somewhat (though I am afraid to write that just in case I jinx myself) I am now taking a magnesium supplement, soaking in epsom salt baths, eating bananas and taking an iron supplement. Not sure what is working but my chiropractor and midwife both assure me that none of these can be bad for baby at all- so I figure I am just going to keep doing them all.
Sometimes little man kicks me hard enough or moves strongly enough that you can watch him from the outside through my clothes. I find it fascinating and endlessly entertaining. Ry finds it nothing but frustrating- as the kiddo always stops before Ryan can see it. Our son refuses to perform on command (keep that in mind) and so Daddy hasn't been able to see his waves and pokes yet- but with anywhere from 4-8 weeks to go there is still time.
