Along with a whirlwind wedding weekend this past weekend was also Ryan's first father's day. We celebrated by joining my whole family for breakfast where they all wished him a happy first father's day and then we headed home for the Schmitzel to give his gifts to his daddy. Along with a couple of cards and a lot of Ryan's favorite chocolates the Schmitzel gave himself and his daddy matching Brewers gear. Next summer one day we will head to a game with Ry and his son in matching Brewers shirts (I am pretty sure Ry will consent to match for that one occasion :)
Ryan really liked his shirt and was excited about his gifts, which of course made me happy. We are heading to our first Brewers game of the season this Tuesday- perhaps he will debut his new duds then.
