31 weeks

Not much to say here. 31 weeks- only about 8-9ish weeks to go. It now being the end of July and this kid due to arrive sometime about the end of September means we have about 2 more months until his big debut. I can hardly wait to meet him. His movements tell me what kind of music he likes, when he is sleepy, and when he is awake and stretching. He has been super active lately- well it is possible that since he keeps getting bigger he just feels more active as the sensations are so much stronger. He is a stinker who won't perform on demand though- as soon as I put my or someone else's hand on my belly he holds super still until the hand moves and then he dances all around again. He has a great future at freeze tag and hide and seek.
According to the books and websites- the Schmitzel is between 3 and 4 pounds and about 16-18 inches long. Soon he will run out of room to move around too much and should settle head down to get ready for his exit.
No other news to report- we are super excited for our first baby shower this weekend. It is being held at my most favorite Italian restaurant in the city and I am lucky enough that a number of my friends and family will be there to toast the Schmitzel and eat delicious Italian food as well.
